……………………………………………………
SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO USE THE ST. MARY’S FLOWER ARRANGERS, THIS IS WHAT WE SUGGEST:
Nina Bates to meet with the bride (or representative) to discuss the details, i.e:
- Date and time of wedding. (Flowers are arranged the day before the wedding)
- How many arrangements would be appropriate
- Position of the arrangements
- Whether or not decoration is required for the outside of the entrance arch
- Brides’ wedding ‘colour’
- Number of flowers, greenery etc
- Flower arrangers are willing to produce some of the greenery from their own gardens
- Contact details
- Donation for the flower arranging
We ask you to:
- source the flowers
- buy the flowers and some greenery
- Arrange delivery of the flowers to the church on the evening before the arrangements are to be done (e.g. if the wedding is on a Saturday, flowers should be delivered to the church on the Thursday evening ready for arranging on the Friday morning).
The St. Mary’s flower arrangers are volunteers and do not charge a fee, however a minimum donation of £100, if the archway is to be decorated £125, is requested to acknowledge their work and time. All your donation will go towards the decoration and upkeep of this very old church.
Methods of payment:
- Cash
- Cheques - which should be made payable to The PCC of Chidham and given to Nina;
